Weekend check in

Well, let's just say that it has been a rough weekend to stay on track with the challenge. I have been eating out this weekend a bit, but have found that I fill up faster. When I did my Wii Fit yesterday it showed that I had lost a suprising .4 LBS which isn't much but I was expecting a gain.
I normally do the Wii in the morning but I just finished it before Amazing Race started. It showed a weight loss of 1.1LBS which puts me at 192LBS. Now I DO expect that to go up in the morning, but I may be suprised lol. I have been before.
Sorry to keep this so short tonight but I have a sick kiddo to deal with. Hope everyone is staying healthy in your house and see you tomorrow.

Day 4

So far today has been pretty good. I started my morning with my body test on Wii Fit. It states that I have lost another .9LBS. I was so excited!!!!!
I also did not get my frappe this morning so I had my crackers this morning. Lunch was the same and no afternoon snack as I was not hungry. I am however regretting that decision right about now lol.
Not sure what dinner will be. I REALLY want some buffalo wings lol. Not sure why. So we will have to see. I really don't feel like I have lost anything today, although I thought that about previous days as well. Oh well time shall tell.

Day 3

Day three started out with a .4LB loss. That is a total of 3.5LBS in two days. Wonderful!!!!!
I ate my normal Cinnamon Pecan cereal with my splash of 2%
I don't eat a morning snack because I have a med. caramel frappe from McDonalds on my way to work lol. Figure it is enough.
For lunch I had my protien bar and some salad. I don't use low fat dressing I just use less of it.
I had my crackers for snack although I did not finish the protion yesterday.
For dinner we had buffalo chicken salad. It was soooo yummy.

I have noticed that after meals, especially lunch, I feel more energized and awake. I used to get so tired after lunch at work. I am not getting as much excercise as I would like. It has been a rough week, and between not getting gym time with our kiddos at daycare and being really busy at lunch I have not walked as much as I normally do. I am not adding excercise though. I want to see what this plan will do if I just substitute the special K products through the day.

Day 2

SO, I started the day with my bowl of cereal just like the day before. I guess my whole meal plan was just like day one. One exception was that I ate my afternoon snack later. It helped a bit, I wasn't as hungry when dinner time came around but that also could have been from the bad news we got yesterday.

On a plus side, when I did the Wii Fit in the morning, I had lost 3.1LBS. That put me down to 194 LBS even. I was extremely excited by that. I am not expecting the same results everyday but it was a nice start.

Our bad news made me want to resort to my old eating habits. I wanted to fill the void with food, but stuck with it. We did not lose a family member or anything like that but the virtual world that we have been members of for 3 years now is closing abruptly. We have made friends on there from all over the world, and we will miss the daily interactions that we had on there. I am getting sad just writing this, so that is all I have to say about that.

My plan for day 3 is the same as days 1 and 2.
3/4 C cereal with a splash of 2% milk (won't do skim yuk)
A protein meal bar for lunch with a little salad.
An afternoon snack. So far the past two days it has been Special K crackers.
A normal dinner.

Day One :)

OK....so it is around 7:30am and I have officially begun my "diet".
I had my cup of coffee but instead of sugar used splenda. Can I just say WOW this will take some getting used to. I used four packs of Splenda thinking that it would be enough. Ummm......NO!!! But that was my goal was four packs and I will get used to it. I also used my vanilla powder creamer. It is NOT fat free and I will be making that switch soon. I also used a splash of 2% milk. (I CAN'T go skim lol)
I also have had my bowl of cereal, if that is what you want to call it lol. I was good and actually measured 3/4 cup of cereal into my bowl. I tried the Cinnamon Pecan today and can I just say YUMMMMM!!!!!! Now, I am not normally a breakfast eater, so imagine my shock to find that after my bowl of cereal I still feel hungry. This will definitely take some getting used to. Now I am off to do my body test with the Wii Fit.
Well......body test done, and while my Wii Fit age is 24 I weigh 197.1 LBS!

ETA:
So, I missed my morning snack because I was busy with my kiddos at work, so at lunch I ate my Protein bar and a small portion of a salad. I used minimal dressing on the salad and no croutons. My afternoon snack was some of the Special K crackers. They were small but very tasty!
By dinner I was STARVING! My fiance made chilli. I had a normal portion of that with about 1/2 a can of coke. Funny thing is that my soda did not taste as good last night. Not sure if it is because I have been drinking a lot of crystal light tea or just an off night lol.
So, that is day one. Day two will get posted tonight or tomorrow since I am writing this the morning of day 2.

Intro

Hi,
My name is Sarah and I am a mom of 2. My oldest has special needs and my youngest thinks she is a teen already lol.
I bought the Wii fit a few weeks ago thinking that if I did it every day that I would lose some weight. I have not done so. I have maintained the same weight give or take a few ounces, but to my disappointment I have lost NOTHING!!!!
So, since cutting back on what I eat and maintaining minimal workout (I work in a daycare so I count playing with the toddlers my exercise) has not worked I decided yesterday while doing my grocery shopping that I would begin the Special K Challenge.
I bought two boxes of cereal, two boxes of snack bars, and three boxes of the protein meal bars. It says that you can drink normally and have one normal meal a day. So, here goes lol.......wish me luck.
